LONDON, UK: A total of 66 Yellow Pencils were awarded to the best of the world's design, advertising and communications work at the 2012 D&AD Awards, the organisation's fiftieth anniversary, last week in London. Here are the breakdowns by country and category.
Comments D&AD CEO Tim Lindsay
, "The D&AD Awards in 2012 have seen more work than ever entered from around the world - and that has been reflected in the awards given, with a strong show from Australia, the Far East and from Latin America in particular."
"D&AD has grown to become a truly international awards [competition], but one with its roots still firmly planted in the UK. I think that this is where creatives from across the world still want their work to be recognised because they know that at D&AD their work will be judged by the cream of the international creative community."
In total, 636 entries from over 35 countries were recognised with awards across In-Book, Nominations and Yellow Pencils this year full list of winners
