A stinkingly good ad!

Nestle's television commercial introducing its latest ice-cream offering called 'Heaven' would have most people thinking it was shot in the countryside of France with a genuine French girl.
Film Director, Dave Gillard from Fresh Eye Film Productions says: "Making local locations look the part is often one of the greatest challenges we are faced with when shooting commercials.

In this particular instance we needed a lush green looking location. We eventually found our little bit of Provence - interestingly it was a sewerage farm close to Johannesburg."

french accent a bit dodgy-

solid ad from a marketing perspective-
This ad did the job! strong branding, strong apetite appeal, strong awareness and I would guess is doing a great job of driving trial. At the end of the day this is the objective of advertising---- and by the way the product follws through (flippin sensational!) Posted on 1 Feb 2005 08:13
