AdForum Worldwide Summit

For the second year, the AdForum Worldwide Summit gathers together in New York the world's leading Agency Search and Management Consultants to meet with the CEOs and top-managers of the largest global advertising and media networks.

The AdForum Worldwide Summit provides a unique opportunity to Agency Networks CEOs to articulate their network values, position, mission, and capabilities with most of the major agency search consultants worldwide in one single meeting. It is also a great opportunity to exchange views with consultants, evaluate their agency awareness and correct the gap between image and reality in the various regions of the world.

The AdForum Worldwide Summit offers the participating consultants an insight into "Global Networks CEO objectives, mindset and culture", to update their information on the current situation, objectives and development strategies of global advertising and media companies, and provides everyone with food for thought.

As one consultant stated, "Hearing directly from Global Chief Executives provides a unique insight into how they expect their business to develop in the next 18 months, invaluable information and stimulating discussion. The Forum also provides a great environment to meet other intermediaries and discuss issues affecting our own businesses."

The AdForum Worldwide Summit 2003 will focus on emerging trends in the context of the expected rebound : What are the new needs of advertisers? How does the Advertising Industry adapt itself? Does the rise of "hub agencies" signal an alternative to global networks?

The Summit also includes working sessions focusing on new business against the background of a weak advertising market. Sessions will be led and moderated by industry leaders:

*** Eudes Delafon, Founder of RECMA, the research company specialized in media agencies, will lead a discussion about "The Worldwide Media Agencies Landscape". RECMA will also presents its new "media agency networks evaluation grading system", based on a variety of factual and qualitative criteria.

*** André Cappon, President of Ballester, Inc. will introduce "Agency Search from the Advertiser point of view" with a presentation entitled "Agencies Market Dynamics in 2003: Global trends, Regional differences", the results of a research based on over 500 interviews with top US and European advertisers.

*** The Agency point of view will be illustrated by a presentation and a discussion based on in depth interviews with consultants, carried out in the USA by Cleve Langton, Corp. EVP, Director of Business Development Worldwide, DDB and in Europe by Kate Robertson, Vice President New Business Europe, Euro RSCG.

The consultants are coming from all over the world: Australia, Singapore, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain and the USA.
