Great ads for good causes - ACT Pro-Bono Exhibition

For the first time in the history of advertising, the worldwide advertising community will display a unique collection of campaigns created pro bono specifically for public service, charity and non-governmental organizations.

The first exhibition of the ACT PRO-BONO collection, Great Ads for Good Causes, will be held during the 50th Anniversary of the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival in the Hall Méditerranée of the Palais des Festivals. Open to the public, this exhibition presents hundreds of print and TV campaigns, most of which have received international awards.

"Our idea is to showcase how creatively the international advertising community has used the power of persuasion of advertising for generous causes," explains Hervé C. de Clerck, "dream leader" of AdForum.com, the website at the origin of these initiatives.

The ACT PRO-BONO collection will illustrate how the global advertising industry helps institutions and non-governmental organizations to raise awareness and inspire action with its best asset: creativity!

The full ACT PRO-BONO collection, the best ads for good causes, will also be accessible online at www.adforum.com/ACT2003.
