• Mail & Guardian: Mail & Guardian editor-in-chief Nic Dawes resigns... Nic Dawes will step down as the M&G editor-in-chief to join the Hindustan Times in New Delhi as chief content and editorial officer.

  According to the report, he informed staff at the weekly newspaper and digital news provider today that he is leaving - though only in September. Dawes has been on staff for nine years, half of them as editor.
