Cape Town, October - Total Media has been appointed to develop a fashion accessories festival at Cavendish Square shopping centre in Claremont, Cape Town. The event, The Art of Accessories, was conceptualised by Total Media in partnership with events agency The Perception Group to highlight the malls fashion credentials to style-conscious consumers.

The account is being handled by Total Media's consumer division which has a strong track record in developing fashion brands through PR and marketing. Other recent fashion brands handled by the agency include: Nokia Cape Town Fashion Week, Cell C Positive Rocks, Gavin Rajah, Craig Port and Galaxy & Co amongst others.

The Art of Accessories takes place between the 1st and 5th November and will include an exhibition of conceptual design by Elizabeth Galloway Fashion Academy, live fashion photo shoots, fashion trends workshops and jewellery design sessions for children amongst other activities.
