NEWSWATCH: The Times is being given away at selected street corners in Gauteng today, tomorrow and Friday as the newspaper gears up for selling to the public for the first time next week, blogs Ray Hartley, editor of The Times and The Times Online. “The Times is free to all Sunday Times subscribers and this will remain the case. By selling on the streets, we are hoping to get more people to see what they are missing so they will join the subscriber club,” he writes.
