It seems as though there is a tug of war between Radio 2000 and Telkom Media over Ray White's services. Yesterday morning, Thursday, 21 February 2008, on what was meant to be the last Breakfast Show on Radio 2000, programme manager Cuthberth Mashigo and station manager Karlito Sheik asked to have a discussion with White and his co-host Nicole da Silva on air. In their discussion, they said, “Okay Ray, the people have spoken and we have listened to what the public has to say. You were right; we were wrong.” However, according to a reliable source, even though the two parties have agreed to meet on Friday 22 February to discuss the matter further, White has made it clear that his future is with Telkom Media.
