TV station partners with disability expo
For the first time in the event's four-year history, a TV station has come on board as a media partner of ACSA Disability 2008 Conference and Expo, which showcases lifestyle opportunities, products and services for people with disabilities (PWDs). Says Leo Manne, manager of special projects at SABC1, “The SABC also has a duty to invest in the community, and contribute to its upliftment and development. Disability affects everyone, either directly or indirectly and thus SABC1 feels it imperative to support this event.” ACSA Disability 2008 takes place 11 - 13 September 2008 at Gallagher Estate in Midrand, Johannesburg.
