On the 30th of August the Stop Suffering Help Centre will be hosting the "Making a difference day" event in the nine provinces of South Africa. You can participate by being a volunteer and engaging yourself in any social work in your community or by your donation of food, clothing, or any other.
The SSHC is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation established in 1996. The main objective of the Stop Suffering Help Centre is to rehabilitate the destitute. The event of the "Make a difference day" is worldwide with millions of volunteers. The main objective of the event is to get as many volunteers as possible on that day to do different kinds of social work eg. visiting of hospitals, orphanages, prisons etc., donating food to the needy, painting and refurbishment of old buildings, cleaning of streets, planting of trees etc.

At the end of October 2008, two respondents to this survey will be randomly selected to receive a two night stay for two people sharing at one of the lodges on the dam. The names of the recipients will be posted on this site.
