The two boldest DJs for the Cape Town Strongbow Do You Know events were selected. DJ Blanka won the Chippa's DJ battle on Sunday the 18th of December. "The event was extremely bold, and I am very happy to have won," said DJ Blanka. DJ Blanka is from Parow in Cape Town and has been DJing for eight years. The gig at Amadoda in Woodstock on Tuesday, 18 December 2011, broke ground with beats by DJ Rudi who walked away with the title for the day. DJ Rudi grew up in Ocean View and started DJing when he was 20. Before winning he wrote on his entry form that "I am extremely passionate about soulful house music and would like to showcase my talent to South Africa."
