Official 2010 Loeries rankings
While there can be many ways of analysing any competition, this year the Loeries has introduced official winners rankings which aim to be a transparent mechanism for reporting the outcome of the awards. With the release of the printed Loeries annual, additional rankings will be published, including top 10 tables for all the individual credits, eg ECD, illustrator, writer and director, as well as post production/VFX, etc. 4 Oct 2010 12:38

Loeries to launch Creative Week Cape Town
The Loeries Awards will, this year, launch the inaugural Creative Week in Cape Town as part of the annual festival. World cup closing ceremony details
The 30-minute night-time closing ceremony of the 2010 FIFA World Cup will take place at 6.30pm on Sunday, 11 July 2010, at Johannesburg's Soccer City Stadium - ahead of the final. Rhodes to host global conf on journ education

Sales of single evening tickets or a weekend pass for the 2010 Loerie Awards in Cape Town, 1-3 October 2010, are now open. For every two grand seats purchased, three gallery seats can be purchased.
