ABN Productions to host Agribusiness Indaba

ABN Productions will be hosting the Agribusiness Indaba which will take place on 23 May 2013 at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa. The Indaba will be attended by foreign and local investors, project developers and local government to facilitate investment partnerships in the industry.
Topics that will be discussed include, 'Financing Africa's Agribusiness Infrastructure and Development', which looks at how the finance sector can review the current conditions for investment, which includes improving infrastructure and the business environment through administrative reforms.

'Food Security - Fighting Hunger in Africa', are amongst other topics which will address issues such as the availability of food at regional and national levels, basic access to food and essential nutrition by households that fulfil the dietary requirements for living an active healthy lifestyle.

The speakers at the Agribusiness Indaba include representatives from Standard Bank, Nedbank and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).

"We are proud to be hosting the second instalment of this important conference, the premise of this indaba is to create a platform for discussions around the agricultural sector and also looks at how we can improve the African continent's investment profile," said Zubaidah Haniff, head of ABN Productions.
