Inscape is all about holistic learning, because we want each student to live their potential, out loud and for the good of the world. Our institution was established in 1981 which makes us the oldest multi-disciplinary private creative arts institution in South Africa.
Inscape is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a private higher education institution. Our Bachelor of Design Degree, Diplomas and Higher Certificates are accredited by the Council on Higher Education, and are registered by SAQA.
We know what's going on in the design industry, so our Qualifications, Awards and Short Courses are relevant and include real-life projects. You will have plenty of opportunities to practise what you learn. Work-Integrated Learning is a feature of all our course work, which means you will rub shoulders with guest lecturers from industry, and participate in case studies, field work, site visits, interviews, competitions, workshops and work-simulated projects. You will be mentored. Final-year design students collaborate with best-of-the-best design companies and are confident to enter the business world.
