MultiChoice launches DStv on demand

MultiChoice has launched DStv on Demand pc, which allows subscribers to enjoy selected programming covering a full spectrum for download or online streaming.

Comments Richard Fyffe GM: MultiChoice New Media, “Subscribers are in for a treat when they explore the array of engaging content on the DStv on Demand pc service, and experience firsthand the phenomena of on demand services. It is precisely this sort of choice, flexibility and immediacy, which complements the lifestyle of the new generation of South Africans.”

The DStv on Demand pc website (www.dstvondemand.com) was launched on a trial basis in August 2007. It essentially increases access to digital media by providing yet another platform for viewers to enjoy and experience some of the top DStv premium content.

DStv on Demand pc provides selected content from various DStv channels. Local content such as Carte Blanche and Egoli and international content such as Smallville VII, Saving Grace and Sarah Connor Chronicles, can all be viewed. It also enables viewers to catch-up on missed full-length programmes or receive quick overviews of sport events at the click of a button.
