He has a solid background in radio, having started his broadcasting career on campus radio at Tuks FM in 1996 on the graveyard slot before taking the helm of the breakfast show.
He has worked in the retail radio space, as a broadcast lecturer and as breakfast show presenter on Radio 2000. In 2008, he took over the role of programme manager at OFM where he played an integral role in growing audience and redefining the on-air product.
