Finding Lenny goes to Hollywood; Ireland

The local feature film Finding Lenny has been selected for both Hollywood's Feel Good Film Festival and The International Film Festival of Ireland, it was announced yesterday, Monday, 6 July 2009.
Finding Lenny (directed by Neal Sundström, April 2009) has officially been selected for Hollywood's Feel Good Film Festival. As per its name, the festival is enthusiastic about short/feature films with "happy endings that make audiences laugh, and that capture the beauty of our world". Finding Lenny's diverse SA cast includes local funny man, Barry Hilton. The festival will run from 7 to 9 August 2009 in Hollywood. For more information go to www.fgff.org.

Ireland

The International Film Festival of Ireland will be held this year in Clonmel.

The Irish festival will be directed by Will Nugent and takes place from 6 to 12 September 2009, with the award ceremony being held on Saturday, 12 September. For more information about the festival, go to www.amritsa.com/eire/index.htm
