Refilwe Lesabane passes away
Refilwe Lesabane passed away unexpectedly on Monday, 20 June 2011, from complications relating to childbirth. She was an account manager at marcusbrewster, having joined in 2005.
Survived by her daughter, Relebogile, mother and sister, she is remembered for her quiet pragmatism and the warmth with which she was held by her fellow staffers and friends.
Over the years she worked on campaigns for Mango, MTN, Phumelela, the Johannesburg Attorneys Association and Absa. In 2011, her campaign for Intersexions earned marcusbrewster and client Johns Hopkins Health and Educations Services South Africa a Silver PRISM award in the Media Relations category.
