Additionally, the Native Advertising Awards intend to honour flawless execution that sets new creative and value adding standards to digital and offline advertising.

“Native advertising is probably one of the most innovative areas within media and marketing these days. In addition, publishers, brands and agencies that are already going above and beyond to develop content that adds to the user experience deserves to be celebrated. We would like to honour their efforts,” says Jesper Laursen, CEO at the Native Advertising Institute.

Native advertising, as a practice, is experiencing substantial growth these days and 40-50% of the global marketing budgets is expected to be spent on native advertising in 2020. Furthermore, the practice is becoming an eminent area of business for many publishers. According to the latest report published by the Native Advertising Institute, in collaboration with FIPP, the global association for magazine publishers, the global magazine industry is expecting one third of the overall advertising revenue to come from native advertising by 2018.

The Native Advertising Awards covers a line of different categories focused on strategy, channels and formats. The winners will be announced during the Native Advertising Days 2016 conference in Berlin on 16-17 November 2016. At this conference, native advertising professionals come together to share their knowledge and best practices within the field of native advertising and explore the DNA of great native advertising.
