Winners of Responsible Drinking Media Awards announced
Chris Moerdyk, one of the judges, hailed the quality of this year's entries and was confident that journalists are taking their role of responsible drinking ambassadors to heart.
"I was really impressed by the quality of entries this year. The submissions were all pertinent and compelling. From a judging perspective, it made our task very difficult but it was a pleasure to see that journalists have understood that they are vital in the fight against alcohol abuse and their messages and approaches need to be strong in order to tackle the problem," he said.

"Keep creating awereness"
"At brandhouse, we acknowledge the various issues associated with alcohol and we are forever committed to promoting responsible drinking. The best way to do this is to partner with those who have the power and influence to change things around and that is the media," says Mike Mabasa, corporate relations director at brandhouse.
"We encourage not only the winners but the finalists and all this year's entrants to continue the hard work in conveying the responsible drinking message. We urge them to keep creating awareness around responsible drinking and come back next year with more compelling articles."
