Deadline looms for Marketing Excellence Awards entries

Entries for the Sunday Times Business Times Marketing Excellence Awards close on Thursday, 23 August 2007. The awards recognise and reward the marketing discipline in the South African boardroom in its many facets and includes meeting marketing objectives related to image, innovation, creativity, pricing and distribution – the complete ambit of the marketing mix.

Marketing practitioners from all industry sectors are invited to nominate candidates that have shone in the areas of industry, business and individual accomplishment. The four major categories to be judged this year include Marketing Person of the Year, Marketing Company of the Year, Brand Campaign of the Year and Sponsorship Campaign of the Year.

Overseen by a luminary sixty-three-member executive level business council chaired by Dr Ivan May, it includes Sir Paul Judge, a leading marketing expert in the UK.
