Bad news for banking is that a recent survey has found that retail banking confidence has dropped sharply, but on a brighter note,
Standard Bank has won plaudits for its mobile banking innovations. Apparently they are something of a hit with international bankers.

Thursday is Mandela Day, so what are you going to be doing? Whatever it is, at least you know you are in very good company... because Branson, Clinton and the Dalai Lama also support Mandela Day.

Finally, for the logistics sectors, the good news is that figures reveal there's a high air freight demand in Africa.

The African continent is experiencing significant growth and expanding trade. Figures released by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and DHL Express's shipment numbers show increased air freight demand in South Africa and the continent as a whole during the month of April.
