ThisDay stores face closure
Cash-squeezed ThisDay is looking at closing 24 of the 75 CNA stores which the Nigerian-based company bought at the end of last year and is in talks with about 80 staff members about their future. CE Graeme King says that despite the setback with the stores the planned launch of a daily newspaper in South Africa later this year was still on track.
