SABC refuses to overpay for soccer rights
According to the Mail & Guardian Online, while the SABC could match an offer by SuperSport to screen PSL matches, it is not prepared to overpay for broadcasting rights. Meanwhile, Business Day reports that Robert Marawa of Metro FM, which is owned by the SABC, has been “shown the door” after interviewing his boss at SuperSport, Imtiaz Patel.
