Milestone for freelancer directory
Freelancentral, the online directory of freelancers in South Africa's marketing and creative industries which launched in February 2006, welcomed its 2000th member earlier this week. According to owner/manager Jo Duxbury, freelance graphic and web designers, online developers, writers, illustrators, photographers and more are reporting that their www.freelancentral.co.za listings have resulted in work from both local and international clients. One member reported this week that within four days of listing his portfolio on the site, he'd landed his first freelance contract.
