Crime line celebrates 100th arrest
The Primedia Group and the South African Police Service (SAPS) on Monday, 20 August 2007, celebrated the 100th arrest in their joint anti-crime venture, Crime Line, which was launched on 7 June. During the proceedings, another seven arrests rolled in. Primedia and the SAPS are now firmly focused on the 1000th arrest, but to get there, they need the community's help. Anyone who has information on crime or criminals should SMS a detailed message to 32211, or log on to www.crimeline.co.za.
