Student wins bandana design competition
This year, the third year Design and Textile students from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and Fashion and Textile students from the Durban University of Technology went head to head in a competition to come up with this year's “surprise bandana” design for The Sunflower Fund Pick 'n Pay National Bandana Day. The design of Cape Peninsula University of Technology student Candice Hofmeester came out on tops, and she received R10 000 in Pick 'n Pay vouchers.
