Show profile Hide profileI am a young Multimedia Designer, still acquiring design skills and knowledge each day. A designer who has love for designing and developing websites. I Describe myself as a front end designer with knowledge of back end skills, based in Johannesburg and studied multimedia design for 3 years (2011-2013) of which I obtained a diploma at the University of Johannesburg. A young vibrant growing UX & UI designer/ developer. In the 3 years of my study journey I focused on cross boarder designs for 2 years such as motion graphics, graphic design, basic animation, design in general, illustration, video, info-graphics, interactive and how to conduct deeper research. . In first year I freelanced for experience in the industry which continued into 2nd year. In 3rd year I focused on interactive design such as website, application & basic games. I worked for two companies such as the Uj observer which is a newspaper for the University of Johannesburg, as a web developer and an editor for a year. During that year I also worked for Aspire group, for a motion graphics video which was based on study courses for students. I also did part time photography for birthdays and weddings. My design is the window to my thoughts, it invites you mentally and physically.
I Am equipped with skills and knowledge on Adobe product images at the top and also have a vast knowledge for programming languages such as PHP, HTML/HTML 5, CSS/CSS 3, and JavaScript & JQuery. Although I am still adding to my knowledge & skills every day and I explore other forms of creating or developing website such as the use of WordPress and Joomla.
I've worked with companies such as the University of Johannesburg (Newspaper), my position was to develop and keep updates of the live website for a year. Also worked with a company called Aspire group, we were asked to create motion graphics for one of their college course Firnwood of which was a one month contract. Also did freelance work for 2 years doing logos and layouts posters for entertainment companies (events) and corporates. Thereafter I joined a creative agency, FUZE integrated communication & marketing as a developer/ web designer, responsible for all the live websites, keeping updates and developing them up to client satisfaction.
