Working for the market leader in the publishing, design and media fields has allowed me to gain over 6 years of publishing design and agency experience.
My core day to day duties include managing the design studio and production teams, ensuring that all briefs which are submitted are completed efficiently within the specified time frame.
It is also extremely important that all design and production work maintains the high standards of the business at all times which emphasizes quality, cost control and excellent customer service.
In addition to print media, the design studio is also responsible for developing customer websites and also involved with online marketing products.
I am extremely efficient with my Admin skills and I compile weekly & monthly statistics, showcasing and highlighting my team's performance.
Management and development of my staff is an ongoing task for me and I particularly enjoy this as it allows me to lead, teach and learn at the same time.

I maintain good relations with our printers and customers to ensure our publications are printed correctly as there are different steps involved with each publication. A weekly task for me is to do print costing on our publications.

Internally, it is vital to have a healthy relationship with our Finance and Sales teams as working together with Production, enables the company to move forward.
Working in an environment, which is process driven and consists of multiple weekly deadlines has assisted me in dealing with extreme levels of pressure and has allowed me to grow both personally as well as professionally.
From a design perspective, I have a diploma in Graphic and Web Design which has assisted me time and time again in managing the studio and my staff.

I am a huge food and cuisine lover! Food restaurants have been in my family for many years and I would certainly love to open my own gourmet food outlet of my own one day.
I firmly believe that integrity, passion and good communication are key aspects for any organization to succeed.
My passion for what I do, coupled with my skill-set would be a valuable asset to any company.
