I am currently a journalist for Supersport Blitz, a 24 hour sports news channel. I take on numerous roles for the channel.

The bulk of my work involves sourcing the latest sports stories, writing the scripts and voicing them for the channel.

I also do live commentary for the channel, crossing to certain live sports events in a voiceover booth throughout the 30 minute bulletin.

Occasionally, I am called out to cover sports events around the country, and do the relevant pieces to camera.

I interned in the Digital News section of SABC for a brief period of time. I had a number of roles, which included writing, updating and editing stories for the SABC News website, and compiling and voicing news and sports stories for Newsbreak, the telephone news service.

COMPANY: Rhodes Music Radio (RMR)
POSITION: Sports Presenter
PERIOD: 2008-2010

I worked at RMR for two years as an on air sports presenter. I hosted a daily show called 'sportsline', which discussed the headlines of the day with my co-presenters and guests. It was during this time that I became comfortable with hosting radio shows, talking on air, and managing audio programmes such as Adobe Audition and Jazzler.
