SIES man this is RIDICULOUS. Seriously. I don't know how many times I've said "sies" on air - I still work. There certainly is a lot more to this story. If a station can get rid of "top talent" on such grounds then you wonder what value this talent actually brings to the station.
A lot of community radio stations are run like tuck-shops, really saddening for individuals who go into these stations and hope to grow and develop their craft as broadcasters - all they end up doing is killing the talent.
