Another prize comment from the SABC, courtesy of its spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago, regarding the programming error: "Thank you very much to the people watching the SABC. When things go wrong they're quick to complain, but they don't congratulate us when things go right."
So you're telling us that every time you people actually do your jobs properly and don't screw up some programme / schedule / whatever, that we should call to say, "Well done for not f**king up today!" ?! :P
Oh, and for all those who are keen to catch the cut scene (hopefully in the right sequence this time), SABC 3 will be rebroadcasting all Monday night's episodes this Sunday, 6 September, from 2 - 4.30pm. |

Ha, SABC 2 have already lost 'The Lot' (film director reality show - first prize apprenticeship with Steven Spielberg)... "due to unforeseen circumstances". Having watched the opening episodes, I was stumped to find that week 2 didn't start where the first left off, and instead had jumped about 2 or 3 episodes ahead. Comments on TVSA said SABC 2's official word on the cancellation of the show is: "The programme is not packaged properly and we just do not receive the
tapes on time from overseas." 'Nuff said? |
I looked at this list and my entire school setwork 'career' flashed before my eyes. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good book, but I'm left wondering whether the education system isn't in cahoots here... not to mention Hollywood.
So, at the risk of sounding like the guy who slept all through English lit, if you can't get through the book, rent the movie. |
