I currently handle the Financial and Administration side of Caring Hands Foundation. I am a retired Accountant with 38 years experience with Grosvenor Ford and Auto Industrial. I am deaf since age of 6, but was never been an handicap in communication with hearing people. I am proud of my work, and take it very seriously.
I am an elder of our Deaf Congregiation here in Kempton Park, we serve the deaf in the whole Gauteng, Northwest and Free State, Near Mpumalanga. A Heavy burden to carry, but the Lord provides.
Thru all my life I have been in direct contact with the Deaf world in South Africa, and have seen much of their suffering and communication problems. Armed with my QBE, it is my desire to uplift the Deaf to a higher standard of living, to a fruitfull living, and to enable them to use their latent talents to empower them.
Due to minimal assistance from the Government, much deaf are classified as "left-behinds" ,and sustainable empowerment for the deaf are an urgent need.
