Who is Jax
A girl from Pretoria, who became a woman in Joburg...

I was destined to be involved in anything creative, I was that little girl you would find drawing
on all the walls in the house. I was encouraged as a young child to enjoy anything creative,
from wax crayons to pastels, finger paints to watercolours, these were my favourite 'toys".

After graduating high school, I took a year off and worked as an Au pair in the States, that was the best thing I could have done, that is where I found myself, who I was and what I wanted to be.

Returning to South Africa I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life...GRAPHIC DESIGN
I moved to Joburg and studied at AAA school of advertising for 3 years, leaving with a
Diploma in Creative Communications, top of my class.

I have been working for 11 years on all types of design briefs, and after a good run in the
permanent world I decided to try freelancing.

With 11 years experience in graphic design, I'm in my mid 30's now and still enjoying making
the world pretty.
