Show profile Hide profileI worked for BCSnet an ICT company based in Johannesburg. I managed the IT Procurement, Laser printing, Despatch, Deliveries & Courier and managed the building environment for the floor space the company rented, ie. Aircons, UPS, Lights, Fire System, etc.
I have enclosed my resume to provide you with an overview of my experience. I have 18 years of working experience in an ICT/ISP environment at a supervisory level. One of my responsibilities provided me with over two years procurement and administration experience and I worked closely with the Account's Department and I processed all the PO's on Pastel. I am proficient in the use of Microsoft Products, ie. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
After retrenchment, I was employed at a Engen Filling Station and was trained to manage the Filling Station and Shop with a staff compliment of 25 people. I was responsible for the day-to-day running of the Filling Station & Shop. This provided me with experience in the Retail sector. It also improved my communication skills with different races.
I am currently employed and am the Operations Manager in Digital Printing.
I am very meticulous but passionate in all that I do and always see things through to the end. I am energetic, fair, honest and ethical and these are important principles by which I try to lead my life and also try to carry these principles through in my work. I am relatively methodical and also try to be as objective as possible in all situations. I am attentive and aware of my surroundings at all times and I consider myself compassionate. I also like to be as proficient as possible in any task that I may perform and I like consistency.
