I have approx 10 years experience in the field of design, from agency and print to internal corporate design. I love design, starting a project from concept, taking it through the process and then finally holding a completed product in my hands. I have all the necessary software experience and knowledge needed. I love interior design also, and industrial design, all forms of design
There's more: Not only do I like and have experience on the digital side, I let the creative side of me come out every now and again. In my current job, it is required of me to do more than just computer graphics. I am required to and have thus gained experience in doing some architectural drawings, and room design. I can plan, design and then style and dress a complete, room.(tiled in this case) The retail side has stores nationwide with lifestyle settings that get updated constantly.
I have worked with photographers also in this setting, doing on location shoots of lifestyles for magazines, advertorials and other advertising and also organising pack shots of products for price promotional advertising.
And eventing - starting and finishing the process, brainstorming, concept, blanning, budgeting, ordering, actioning - store launches, manager's conferences, casual and special holidays and celebrations at the office etc.
The character behind: Every now and again I also try my hand at some of my own home projects - when I get inspired, or manage to find the time. I like to paint, make or build something arty, bake or cook even, watch 3D children's' movies (love them) play with my child, annoy my husband, dance around the house and ransack DIY magazines for more inspiration and ideas on home renovating projects
Conclusion: I am very much 'hands on', I work well in a team, focussed on detail, task oriented, self-starter and driven. I believe that I can be a contribution to your company, not only creatively but I also make a mean cuppa jo. I sortof have thing for good coffee now.
