Participating will be leading experts driving innovation in Africa including Su Kahumbu, Founder of iCow, Simon Rweyongoza of Centre for Creative Leadership, and Kyai Mullei, Co-Founder of M-Changa. The Forum will be opened by The Rt Hon. Amama Mbabazi, Prime Minister of Uganda.

The 30-minute night-time closing ceremony of the 2010 FIFA World Cup will take place at 6.30pm on Sunday, 11 July 2010, at Johannesburg's Soccer City Stadium - ahead of the final. It will be broadcast live in 215 countries to an audience in excess of 500 million viewers, according to the Local Organising Committee (LOC), and will feature 780 cast members and some of South Africa and Africa's top musicians and dancers.

Many in the African diaspora trace their rhythmic roots to Angola's drumming. On Friday 31 July to Sunday 02 August, this musical heritage returns to its source as musicians from Brazil, Mozambique, South Africa and the United States (US) descend on Cine Atlântico in Angola's capital city, Luanda. They will participate in the launch of the Luanda International Jazz Festival - an initiative of Ritek - a first in the diamond-rich and oil-endowed country. “Despite its rich musical history, Angola has never had an international jazz festival,” says company's CEO António Cristóvão.
