Ster-Kinekor has launched self-service counters at the Brooklyn Nouveau in Pretoria. This self-service food and drink boutique is meant to be in line with customers' needs, as taken from extensive research by the group. "We felt that the current method of service delivery could be enhanced," explains Colin Barclay of Ster-Kinekor. "This concept allows consumers to be in charge when they are selecting their favourite refreshments, while still allowing us to serve the essentials such as Coke and popcorn. At the same time, a larger range of beverages and confectionery is being introduced. Healthy drinks such as iced tea and fresh fruit juice are available, together with imported chocolates."
