On the last Wednesday of every month, The Best of Encounters will showcase outstanding documentary films, specially selected from previous festivals at both The Bioscope in Johannesburg and the Labia on Orange Street in Cape Town. For its first screening, it will show the Oscar-nominated documentary, "If A Tree Falls", about the radical environmental group Earth Liberation Front, first shown at Encounters South African International Documentary Festival last year.
