The Department of Communications (DoC), in partnership with the Department of Correctional Services (DCS), has implemented the second phase of the e-literacy programme for 400 youth offenders in prisons in the Western and Eastern Cape by sponsoring training in a certificate course in computer and life skills economy. A graduation ceremony for the successful students is taking place at the Pollsmoor Correctional Centre in the Western Cape today, Monday 14 May 2012 from 9am.
