| 13 Dec 2012 09:52
Hemingways Casino, which raised R12,620 through its annual Nite Race held in September 2012, has handed over the equivalent in goods to the Cambridge Victims Support centre at the Cambridge Police Station. Its CSI chairperson Xoliswa Magengele says the donation acknowledges the casino's support for the national '16 Days of Activism of no Violence Against Women and Children'. It is also helping to sponsor an education campaign against the abuse of women and children being run by the South African Women Lawyers Association (SAWLA) Eastern Cape's at Zigadini Location during the 16-day period.
