Metro FM Website

A friend said that she heard Thomas saying that the website will be up and running by 1 Dec.
That hasn't happened yet. Apparently the new marketing guy was supposed to work on it! And as listeners we are still waiting!

Can someone from Metro explain what's going on here? I mean it is just a website! How hard can it be for a national radio station to have it up and running. Even community radio stations have it!

Ridiculous-
The new website has been under construction for the past six months if i'm not mistaken. Its ridiculous for a station of Metro FM's caliber to take so long to put up a new website. If their marketing guy can't organise the new website then they should approach one of the many companies out there that can do it for them within a week. Get your act together Metro FM. Is anyone from Metro Marketing/PR reading the comments?-
They appointed a very - able - Marketing Manager ages ago. And I remember that this was one of the things HE said were going to be done as soon as possible. Hayi kabi but to develop a website these days takes not more than 2 days. I have personaaly written to the station to ask and no one has ever bothered to respond - and that alone is bad.

Station Manager please sisi, some of us for work purposes not even for fun, work with the kind of info one would easily pull of a radio station website, unfortuantely we always get stuck when it comes your station. Suggest you attend to this one as a matter of urgency!

After a few hiccups...-
The website is up and running. It's not super hot but I still think it's great. There are things that still need to be added like a bit more about Metro and who's who behind the scenes, and a bit more on the DJs. Well done Metro! Posted on 10 Dec 2007 06:31
