South African stats on social media useage

| 10 Sep 2012 12:21
We're very limited with the statistics available on social media useage in South Africa.
There is a company attempting to collect some research. Please take the time to fill in this survey and pass it around?

As an academic I'm desperately looking for various social media statistics specifically relating to SA. I've collected a few studies - please post others should you have access to them?

As a South African that has returned home from abroad to open a digital and social media agency, we were also surprised to find the research is limited. In order to develop a business strategy we had to combine the results of different areas of digital marketing research as well as figures developed by different companies that have made these figures publicly available.

If you can let us know what you are looking for, we can share the relevant info and articles we have.
