What's wrong with Vodacom's dancing cat?
What on earth did the advertisers do to Mo?

Let's face it, when Mo the Dancing or Meerkat was introduced in South Africa... it was a great idea. Remember the ad where "Mo was stripping (and most consumers knew him as 'SEXY' because of the you sexy-thing song)?" followed by "I like the way you move ad?" then came "Battle of the stage ad." After a while they brought a killer ad during last year's festive season "the DADDY YANKEE song ad (a.k.a Gasolina song). Earlier this year Mo played another ad whereby he found the chick he admired from the previous ad... All the above were exciting and people were now waiting to be entertained by MO...that is when the advertisers decided to bore us with the "Mo's chick on the ship and Rock n Roll something ad"
