5fm in my opinion is the most professional national radio station in South Africa, but I was shocked to find out that the station lacks orinality!
I'm sure by now your asking yourself how did I come up with this.
Well here goes...
A few months back I checked out HOT97.com and got amazed at how 5fm has got the same contents as Hot 97;
Rob Vember seems to be the biggest copycat with his webpage containing "gigs on demand" and his radio show having "house on demand". The whole concept of "on demand" comes from Hot 97.
And then 5fm has '5 stars'a showbiz report that broadcasts every hour, on the other hand Hot 97 has for years had 'News update with Miss Info'.
Last but not least both radio stations use the same voice over artist which 5fm introduced in 2004 and Hot 97 did so way before 5fm.

I'm disappointed at 5FM!
