It's already May, and it's about that time of year when I sit for a moment and wonder "Where on earth has this year gone?" I would swear we were celebrating the new year just the other day! But I digress. Let's see what this past week brought us...

Price Watch launched its digital 'Guide to South African Brands, Barcodes and Average Prices', Vida e Caffé set its sights on Ghana as its next step north into the continent, and the Consumer Ombudsman encouraged us to get familiar with the complaint process. Car sales are on the rise and entries have opened for this year's Bollinger wine service award.

Finally, well done (or is that 'rare'?) to all the winning butcheries in the Cleaver Awards.
