This year, the Loeries Creative Future Scholarship, founded in 2008, is part of the World Design Capital 2014 projects. The funding maintains and grows today's Western Cape youngsters to become tomorrow's creative leaders.
On 23 August, the ten shortlisted candidates of 2014 met the Loeries panel at the Open Design CT Festival, where they participated in a challenging full-day adjudication process.
The day included a very challenging creative test, evaluation of the quality of their portfolios and lastly, the panel interviewed the final five candidates. The recipient of the 2014 Creative Future Scholarship will be announced during Loeries Creative Week Cape Town on 20 September at the CTICC.
