ITNewsAfrica will host its inaugural Tech Demo Africa Showcase, aimed at showcasing technology from established companies, as well as start-ups.
Hosted at the Radisson Blue Gautrain Hotel, Johannesburg, South Africa, from 17-18 April 2012, Tech Demo Africa will focus on enterprise technology and eGovernment, and will feature demonstrations and engaging keynote speakers.
Tech Demo Africa will attract international key industry influencers, business leaders, service providers, government dignitaries,venture capitalists and developers. Invited international journalists from as far as Nigeria, China and the USA will be in attendance, lending international coverage to the showcase.
Tech Demo Africa will showcase launches and displays of products and services, as top consumer electronics manufacturers have been invited to exhibit their world-class creations, while also highlighting the importance of eGoverment solutions.
CEO and executive editor of IT News Africa, Abby Wakama believes that mobile app development cannot be ignored, saying "Apps will play a major role in the showcase, providing businesses and government the opportunity to witness the latest in mobile applications for social development, eGovernment and enterprise services. Participants will also have the opportunity to demo their products in full view of a qualified, captive audience of IT leaders, venture capitalists, local and international media as well as potential partners and customers."
The showcase will also provide start-ups with an opportunity to get involved and highlight their services.
