Cape Town Convention Centre's bookings are booming

"The brisk booking is staggering and quite unprecedented for a newly established meeting destination such as Cape Town," says Dirk Elzinga, managing director of the Convention centre.

The centre has two auditoriums with seating for 1500 and 620 people. Thirty-three smaller rooms can be used by groups ranging from 25 to 320 people. The roof terrace meeting room can seat 400 people and there are other banqueting and function rooms with city views. Ten thousand square metres of space is available for exhibitions and trade shows.
