Custom magazine for Garmin

Garmin/GarMap is partnering with Contact Media and Communications to launch GTribe magazine in September 2009.
Managing director of Contact Media and Communications, Sean Press, promises “A beautifully designed content-rich publication with a unique approach to lifestyle and a distinct ability to capture a niche market.”

He adds, with an intentional pun, “Readers can now look forward to a magazine with real direction!”

The magazine is claimed to be a first of its kind in the publishing sector and is designed to cover everything from the latest destinations, gadget reviews, adventure sports and restaurants to people-on-the-move and fashion trends.

The publication has been designed with leading advertising in mind and aims to achieve results through its cross-over online, mobi and print formats.

GTribe hits shelves on 15 September 2009.
No sh*t. That pun was intentional? My goodness. I am dumbfounded.

How bad is the media industry getting when you have to make a publication for Garmin, don't get me wrong its a great product but how much intellectual information can you possibly link to "Garmin"....

Apart from interviews with garmin sponsored extreme sportsman, stories featuring global and local travel destinations, adventure trails, latest GPS gadgets, gear and sporting equipment, exposure of hot spots and hidden city gems, mountain biking, scuba diving, sky diving, leapard and wildlife conservation using advanced GPS navigation...Gtribe doesn't lack much on exploring exciting content! You obviously missed out on the launch edition. But get your hands on a copy of the 2nd issue - and you'll be sure to change your mind. I personally guarantee it.
